Built for Thomas J Edgington in 1889, the historic Edgington House has long been a cornerstone of Spokane's Browne's Addition district.
This house is an excellent example of Queen Anne architecture. Different from Queen Anne architecture in Great Britain, the American Queen Anne style is characterized by features such as a wrap-around porch, an asymmetrical façade and overhanging eaves.
Other beloved features of the Edgington House are the third-story octagonal turret and the circle bay window on the first floor.
For more than a century, the Edgington House has provided apartment units for rent. With seven apartments in total, the apartments range from studio to two-bedroom units.
January 2025 update: There is currently a studio apartment available for rent. If you are interested in living in the Edgington House, see NuKey Realty for more information.
